If you are looking for a party, you will certainly find one in Montezuma! We were not, but we still had a good time, sitting at the corner table at a restaurant and bar on the beach, overlooking the cove around which the little town of Montezuma is built, sippin' on margaritas and talkin' politics with an Israeli and Czech couple (Gil and Suzie) until all hours of the morn. And thankfully too, because our accommodations at Captain's might have been the most sub-par thus far. In fact, they were so bad, that we chose to take the 10am bus out of town the following morning to Mal Pais and Santa Teresa rather than risk spending another night in this place! Turns out, we made a great choice, as we ended up falling in love with these other two towns. And, we just returned to Montezuma for day trips - once to go to the beautiful sand beaches stretching to the left or East of town, and another time to go to the awesome waterfalls, with cliff jumping and swimming in beauitful pools, just to the right or West of town. Of course, on both occasions, we sat at our corner table afterwqards sippin margaritas!
